"Big Kids" at Cobb

Every Thursday, students in the “Tutoring with Cobb” Experiential Elective head down the block to Dr. William L. Cobb Elementary school to work with one of their 1st grade classes. 

Sometimes even teenagers still need time for coloring and playing with playdough! Every Thursday, students in the “Tutoring with Cobb” Experiential Elective head down the block to Dr. William L. Cobb Elementary school to work with one of their 1st grade classes. The students and their tutor, (or, as the elementary students say, their “big kid”) spend some time focusing on their reading and writing skills. The remaining time is spent building LEGOs, playing with playdough, coloring and enjoying the time to connect!
