All parents/guardians are invited to attend the Gallery Walk, 30-minute demonstration of the MakerSpace, and Winter Concert. Please RSVP for the MakerSpace demonstration. Details of each part of the evening are below.
Gallery Walk
Join all of the Drew art students for the annual Gallery Walk, featuring work from Drawing and Design, Advanced Drawing and Design, Printmaking, Advanced Studio and Painting, Photography, Graphic Design, and Filmmaking. There will be an art table for all ages, refreshments, and a raffle.
You're invited to experience the MakerSpace with science teachers Burke Green and Jen Solomon. Work in the new space and make your own beetle-bot using the motors that vibrate cell phones. Learn more about the MakerSpace, including the types of tools in the space and all of the great projects students can work on. Space is limited so please sign up for one of our two workshops. This event is co-hosted by the P/GA.
Winter Concert
Please join us at the winter concert, celebrating a wonderful semester of student achievement in music and dance. Vocal and instrumental ensembles will perform a wide variety of works from classical to contemporary, along with Salsa Rueda dancers. Doors open at 6:40 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m. Admission is free.
