Drew School welcomed back Diego Villegas, an accomplished alumnus, for a visit to the campus. Diego's return showcased the enduring connections that Drew alumni maintain with their alma mater, emphasizing the strong sense of community fostered by the school. Diego, a graduate of Drew School's Class of 2020, has made significant strides in the field of education. He currently works at Pitzer College alongside Erin Griffin in the Office of Admission and Financial Aid. During his time at Drew, Diego founded the Latinx Student Affinity Group, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to equity and inclusivity. He also served as the President of the Pitzer Latinx Student Union, showcasing his leadership abilities.
Today, Diego holds the position of Admissions Fellow at Pitzer College, where he is pursuing a double major in Organizational Studies and Chicanx Latinx Studies. During his visit to Drew School, he shared valuable insights with juniors and seniors considering higher education options at Pitzer, showcasing his dedication to making a positive impact in the field of education.
